Back to Brinker Day will be held Wednesday, August 20 from 10am - 2pm and 5pm - 7pm in the Brinker Gym. In August, parents will be receiving their Back to Brinker Day packet in the mail.

City of Plano voters recently approved a $490 million bond package for various facility and technology improvements throughout the district.  Brinker Elementary will be among some of these improvements, including building updates and library improvements.  You can visit the Plano ISD website here for more information regarding this bond package.  Stay tuned to the Brinker E-news and the Brinker PTA Bear Facts newsletters as these improvements begin!

CONGRATULATIONS to Marisa Petrucci (Kindergarten) and Kris Hinds (3rd Grade) for being named Brinker's Beginning Teacher and Experienced Teacher of the Year!  Both of these ladies were honored recently at the Plano ISD Teacher of the Year Gala!

The PISD Board of Trustees has approved the 2008-2009 School Year Calendar (Option A), which includes the conclusion of fall semester exams prior to the winter break student/ teacher holiday.  The calendar has been posted and can be viewed here.
